Peavey head + cab + cab?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is this a good deal?

Peavey Mark VIII head: $200
Peavey 210TX cab: $140
Peavey 115BX cab: $150

sold as a stack.

They're a bit road worn, but no obvious dings, cracks, rips, etc. Didn't get a chance to play through them. Are the prices in the ballpark for adequately functioning units? I did do a search; found out some dated reviews, mostly positive.... I plan on going back and doing a sound check early next week, or should I not waste my time?

TIA!

For a gig setup ... it's dependable..

If beaten, the cabs are slightly over priced.

It's a reliable, albeit heavy rig. I would not be afraid to rock it if I had to. I had the 210. It was a sick little cab. Great tone from that thing. Wish I still had it...

Price isn't bad. 450 for all would be one sweet deal if you could land that in good condition.

Im loving old Peavey gear right now. Im picking up an 1810 cab on friday, Next I'll be looking for a head to go with it. Most likely a Mark VI. The stuff is dirt cheap, built like a tank and sound good.

I just dont see the reason to spend tons of cash on amps anymore.

Send a message via AIM to Sartori
See if you can talk the person down on the price of the cabs.
