Peavey IPR1600

Got a IPR1600 coming and was wondering how to operate the 2 channels in parallel mode. I checked the manual on line and from what I can see is it's done by patching the 2 channels with a 1/4'" using the thru put.... is this correct?

Also ... If I wanted to run just one channel, does there have to be a load on the unused channel? Again, I read the manual but didn't see any info regarding this. Anybody have any hands on experience?

Thanks in advance..

Yep you patch through to the second channel. Also you can use one by itself with no load on the unused channel.
