Peavey Max 400 head

I found a guy selling a 90's Peavey Max head was wondering who's had experience with this head, an approximate $ value and sound quality on this.

Trying to figure out if it's worth the 2 hr drive to pick it up. Needs the pots cleaned, but other then that it looks pretty solid.

Sorry I was mistaken. It's a 90's MegaBass 400.

Bought one locally last month $200(U.S) won one on ebay $127.50(U.S)
I had one back in the 90s I liked the sound, but eventully I put a Peavy TB Raxx preamp in front of it. I run mostly Hartke stuff nowadays But I'm going to use the Peavy in the cover band.
its a versitile head you can Bi amp em EQ is decent.real rugged head. On our way to a show once in Ocean City Maryland, my Guitar player at the time got hit in the van, My rack came out of the back of the van slide across the highway was hit by on oncoming car smashed the rack cse(was cheepo anyway, but the Mega worked that night.
as for Value..I've seen em go for as mcuh as$500(us) and as little as $100(US)
