Peavey Max 450 + Avatar 4x10 volume

Okay, so I have the Max 450 and the Avatar B410 and I need to be as loud as possible (been badgered to get another 4x10 for my rig but atm that's not happening lol).

How much could I push the pre gain, lows, and master volume to a point where I won't blow out a speaker?

Roll of the low end. 150hz and lower - reduce heavily. Not exactly the best tone, but it will focus your bass in the low mids and higher. Which are more audible to the human hear.

Keep the knobs at a neutral setting, don't hit any switches or special buttons, and reduce the low end.

Good bass tone starts with your hands.

Definitely, turn down the "low" knob on your EQ. Focus on mids. You'll be able to turn up louder and also your sound will cut through better.

Thanks guys! =D
I actually recently bought an Ampeg 8x10 so that should be sufficient volume. And what you guys suggested is really going to help me dialing in a tone that will cut through better!
