Peavey Max115 combo with amp removed.

I inherited a Peavey Max115 combo cab that has had the amp removed. Anyone know what speaker Peavey put in here? I've had the speaker out, but cannot find any markings on it at all. I would like to pair it with an old Crate 200watt/4ohm head. Kind of a little franken-rig, I know, but trying to make do with what I've got.

Post a pic of the speaker front and back.

Peavey's website calls it a "heavy-duty woofer" and the original amp was "60 watts RMS into 4 ohms". I've emailed Peavey for the part number or specs, but still waiting a response.

Thanks for taking a look.

The speaker will likely be a 4Ω unit to get the most out of the combo. Mated with a 60W amp it's most likely not going to be able to handle too much power. Try it and see how it sounds remembering to use your ears to listen for trouble from the speaker.
