peavey MK IV 400 BH and TVX 412

Does this sound like a good combo for less than $400.
Im back into playing the bass and plan on playing classic rock.
Any feedback welcome.

So long as the amp is in good repair, and the speakers aren't blown, yes, that's a good deal.

I bought a Peavey mark VI and 410tx new around 1994? or so and it's still kickin' today at the practice room.
It's a good sounding amp IMO so at that price if everything still works right and you like it, it should be a good deal.

That cab was one of the best products Peavey ever produced. I'd pay that for the cab alone...

I had a 412 TVX, and it really kicked. But, even Godzilla couldn't compete. If you have a friend to help you carry it, or if you work out, the cab's a keeper. For 200 bones...you can't go wrong. The head will just be an extra.
