Does anyone have any experience with these heads? There's one selling locally that I'm considering picking up. Not really sure what's a reasonable price for these things. Providing I like it after I try it, I was going to offer $100 and go from there.

No personal experience with them, but I do know that Jesse Keeler of Death From Above 1979 (and MSTRKRFT) used one in that band.

Interesting. I'm a big Death From Above fan but I didn't know he used anything besides Acoustic heads.

Jesse Keeler's Setup

He used both a Peavey and an Acoustic, actually.

i have a the f800-g but it needs a recap but from what little i played with it it is a fun and loud amp. (fyi the only difference between the f800-b and the f800-g is the preamp and effects/reverb) heavy and wide as sin

The bass player that took my spot in my old band used one for a while through a peavey 215. It's not SVT tone, it still reeks of Essence of Peavey on the preamp side but it sounded better than most solid state non micro amps I have heard. YMMV.

It's long life gigware.

$100 seems fair.
