Peavey TB Raxx? (New here btw)

Hi all,

Although I've been playing bass for about 6 years I've only just found this forum. I'm currently a college student (studying engineering) but throughout high school I played bass in the jazz band and I played with a pop/punk band, as well as drums in the marching band. I really really love my Schecter 5 string, great basses!!

Anyway, I recently came across some new gear that I'm looking to unload, one of the items is a Peavey TB Raxx preamp. I'm not sure how to use one of these things, but I know it turns on because the LED lights up! What is one of these things worth? I'm probably gonna list it in the classified section here once I get an idea.

They're not worth much. I had one and gave it away.

I love my TB Raxx pre-amp. It's a pre-amp so you need a power amp and speakers to get anything out of it. One bank of passive EQ, one bank of active EQ, and a pair of 12AX7 tubes in it. Dated design and if it had had some more flexibility it would have been my main rig instead of the back up. No tuner out/mute, but more importantly no balanced DI. The EQ centers are at exactly the right place for me so I really like it. Currently its in the back-up rack with my QSC PLX-1202 amp and a rack-mount power strip.
