Peavey TNT 115 and MAX 112 similar sound?

Sign in to disble this ad
Okie so i went to my local guitar shop the other day and while waiting for my freind i picked up a Squrie Jazz bass, I pluged into a Peavey MAX 112 and i loved it sounding great with my freind playing guitar along side

I have saved up enough to buy this bass but the one thing im wondering is how much did the amp add to the tone?

At home my rig is a Peavey TNT 115 combo how similar of a sound can i get from my amp to the Peavey MAX 112?

Or do i have an exuse to buy another amp?

Thanks for your help

Since you already own the bigger Peavey combo, I wouldn't think it would make much sense to buy the smaller one too. Though not exact, the two should sound similar.
