Peavey tnt 150 mystery buzz

Sign in to disble this ad
So I recently bought this really cool Peavey TNT 150.
It sounds cool, and it was super cheap ($150)
But I have a problem.
It buzzes very badly.
It doesnt seem to be related to the grounding what not, and since it still buzzes when my bass isnt plugged in, i know its not my instrument.
the buzz is kind of easy to work around when im playing at a high volume, but when i plug into a DI box at a venue, you can hear the buzz when i stop playing.

What could be wrong?

Thanks

It could be the power supply filter caps (capacitors). How old is this amp?
