Peavey Tour 210 and 115 cabs

I glanced at these at a local store today because I recently blew my 112 cab, and am debating whether to fix it or get a different cab. Both cabs looked HUGE compared to my avatars, so I thought they were probably heavy, which is a big downside IMO. But I see that the 210 probably weighs 46lbs with its neo speakers and 1/2" plywood, and the 115 about 56 lbs? I think both are discontinued. The cabs werent minty, but for the price listed, I could overlook that. The 210 would probably fit in my trunk next to my avatar 210 also.

How would these do as a stack for rock and blues, with GK heads? I could probably get both for less than the price of one new. What were the new prices?

IMHO, Peavey cabs stack up pretty well against any cabs.

Take your bass and your head into the store and hook 'em up. Let your ears decide.

Well I went back tonight because I saw that they had marked down the 210. It was marked down from $150 to $100. How could I go wrong. Both speakers and the tweeter work, but the tolex is rough and peeling in places. Still the cab seems solid and sounds fine. I think it will make a nice stack with my avatar.
