Question Peavey Tour TNT 115 vs Hartke HyDrive 115C

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm picking up one of these in a month so and would like to hear from people who own these or have spent time on them. I have yet to play the Hartke (I'm an OTR truck driver and have been out a while). I want to do an A/B comparison if possible.

I have played the Peavey briefly and love it but the cabinet design stinks. I used to have the TNT 115BW (awesome amp and huge mistake letting it go), if I'm not mistaken it has a kick-back design to it (same as the Hartke) but the controls would be less accessible when leaned back (top loaded) and if it's not leaned back it has a vent grill plate at the top on that huge nice table top like surface that I could totally see someone accidentally putting a drink there and if it tips over by chance it's going right into the heart of the amp .

Any thoughts on these two amps?

I would have never let go the TNT with a BW...

I have never tried that Hartke, but it should not sound bad at all, I guess...
