Peavey Tour VB-2 vs. SVT

I was wondering if there are any similarities between the two amps? The talk is always regarding the SVT tone but the VB-2's carried on a legacy as well. I remember when I was 13 all I wanted was a Peavey amp.

Two different beasts. The only thing in common is they both have tubes in them, and even they (power) are a different type.

I love my VB-2 for what it is. Don't get one thinking you are getting a less expensive USA made SVT.

I believe someone here modded his VB-2 to accept 6550's...
