Ok I have been doing some background research on this amp and have found something interesting. Being interested in adding this to my gear, I have been reading all the reviews that I can find. Besides peoples opinion I notice that everyone says it is made in the U.S.A. Is this true? One YouTube video clearly shows that it is made in China. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks!

We had planned on manufacturing it in China, but decided not to. I built the one you saw in the Youtube video, so even that one was made in the US. The artwork on the back was changed.

By made in the US, I mean that the chassis starts as raw sheet metal, the cabinet starts as lumber, we build the PCB, assemble, etc... right here in Meridian, MS.

Thanks very much guys! That has ended my head scratching! This has been on my radar for a while and that was about the only question left. I love this amp and all Peavey gear for that matter. I'm heading out on my Christmas break to pick one of these monsters up!

I have one and love it. Not to heavy. Don't forget about the 5 year warranty & some of the best CS in the biz.

Awesome. I've been searching for a good tube amp for a while. This thing is just what I'm looking for!

Absolutely right about the service. I called a few weeks ago and ordered two logos for my cabs. Well, one for my cab and one as a spare. Anyway, super nice person on the phone. He answered all my questions and even invited me to call back to talk to a tech about my old Mark Viii. I want to open it up and repair the cord and maybe a light spray with some air to dust it off a little. I don't know any company like that AND that offers a real warranty. That's just cool!
