Peavey VB-2 or GK 1001-2

Ok so I have the GK 1001-2 and really do love it. I was in a guitar shop and out of curiosity plugged in the Peavey VB-2. Wow! I have an old Peavey head and a couple of cabs so I'm no stranger, but this head was great! I run an Ampeg 8/10 and a Peavey 4/10 for smaller shows. I just wanted some opinions. Not sure if I can afford two high end amps, but this Peavey really got my attention!

Did you play it with your bass?

I just got mine and I LOVE it!! No gigs with it yet, but I've put it through it's paces (my neighbors love me). Paired with my 412 TVX, the VB2 moves ALOT of air. I'm sure it would do the same thing paired with an 810.
I have a biased opinion, but I say go for it.

Randy

Not with my bass yet. The guy said bring whatever I want back to the shop and plug it in, play for however long I want. Pretty cool and I'm taking him up on it!
