Has/does anyone use this setup, I am looking to get lighter but don't want a step in down power, or spend big $$$. Pros or cons and any other advice is appreciated, sorry if this has been posted before |

also, with the Deluxe the finicky'ness of the knobs is not as big a deal, since you get two banks of three save spots. |

As stated above, the original doesn't have an XLR direct out, so you would need it modded, or get a separate passive DI box, or you could get the VT deluxe. The Sansamp Bass Driver is an excellent choice also, and does feature an XLR DI out. They too make a deluxe version that has three programmable preset locations.

It has plenty of gain and a variety of different tones, like the guys say the knobs are very sensitive, so tiny increments can make a big difference

The crown is probably a better unit and cheaper, but has a higher sensitivity, the peavy is maybe a cheaper product quality and higher price, but the sensitivity fits way better from what I have read. Thoughts anyone? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
