Peter Montessi Rocks!

I purchased a REDDI to record my bands next cd. I love when I have a question about the product and the person that responds is the President! Peter is the best! Thanks for everything. This is what I love about my Aguilar amp (Dave Boonshoft responded to my questions) and Lakland (Dan Lakin responds. (not anymore, I know)). Try getting that from Fender or Ampeg! I know sometimes it costs more, but isn't it worth it to get this kind of service?

I think Montessi does indeed rock in terms of providing customer care for his existing products. I tried to talk with him about making some of his gear more gig/road-friendly, and that's where the customer service stopped dead. He has zero interest in making products for stage musicians, and zero interest in talking about it. But if you've bought something from his existing product line, and love it, then he will be your best friend!

I know, it's kind of unreasonable to expect the president of a company to (a) run his company, (b) provide service for his products, and (c) talk with tire-kickers about products that don't exist yet... But I'm just spoiled that way.

I live near where they assemble the A-Designs stuff, and I needed a new pot for my REDDI---Peter sent me right over to the shop and they did it for me while I waited. For Free. And I bought my REDDI second-hand! I'd say that's pretty darn good customer service

I use my REDDI in "most" live situations. We use in-ear monitors and I just love the tone that comes thru. Of course I treat it like a carton of eggs when I'm out there with it.

I was looking at getting some new A Design Preamps fro my studio and spoke with Peter Montessi today. Just a great guy.
Turns out he is going to Bass Player Live in LA next week. He said he will have REDDIs with him to sell plus his other EQs and toys..Im guessing they will be at a discount... Im going to be there with Alleva Coppolo basses for fun...
