Tom Petersson... from a little band called Cheap Trick. Never really amounted to anything. Had a couple songs that weren't half bad back in the 70's.

Yep. Although it is a cover of a Big Star Song.

I sincerely hope no one here has to have Cheap Trick explained to them...and they were great on the show. This cab is sitting where his Rickenbacker Transonic cab used to sit.

Zander. One of the best, if not THE best, rock vocalists ever.

I don't know what's in TP's cab but it looks like you'd need a front end loader or four WWF champs to get it out of there. That's assuming, of course, it's not empty or only partially filled.

I was grumbling about this and a buddy said he had to explain to a girl who David Lee Roth was. Another Friend said she had to explain to someone form CO who Hunter S. Thompson was. Kids these days.

One of the top 5 American bands ever. And I'm being nice to the other 4 in the top 5. I saw them this summer in concert for the 54th time and they still sound great and bring it as well as they ever did.

Yep, a really great, really under-noted band. And they do live up to their name- lots of songs about girlfriends, social situations, and other cheese. But brilliantly done and delivered with skillful zing. Rock and roll with mathematical precision and wit; shaken, not stirred.

In other words... it bothers you when this older band looks exactly the same as they have for the past 30 years?

NEVER... grow old gracefully. Cetainly not for appearance' sake... though yeah, there will come a day when it's just too late to be doing that- for my money anyhow.
