I've used these cabs for about two years now, at least 8 hours a weekend, indoors, outdoors, freezing cold humid conditions and 96 degree direct sunlight conditions. They are built like a tank. Even with the heavy usage they still look and sound new, I baby my equipment, clean the tolex, dust the speaker grills, keep them covered when not in use, and store them in climate control when not in use.
The negatives: These suckers are heavy, if you have back problems, try the Phil Jones Neo line. The only thing I've had to replace are the casters which wore out after a year of dragging through gravel, concrete floors etc. The replacements were pretty cheap, I found them on Amazon for 7 bucks a piece or so.
The positives: Remarkable tone and clarity. I can honestly say I'm a better player because of this rig, I had to clean up my sloppy technique as the cabs articulate EVERYTHING with remarkable precision, including poor technique on my part.
I don't understand the comment about not being able to handle the low B, it's been my experience that not only does the low B sound better than my Ampeg 810AV cab, it handles a drop A with no problems! The only "farting out" these cabs ever did was one gig where all of our equipment was getting starved for power. I had to back off the volume for that gig, otherwise I've never had an issue with it. The speakers push a huge amount of air, especially at the end of a song if I want to make a swell by engaging the preamp, bumping the low freqs and pushing the amp to feedback.
I wouldn't say they are for everyone, they definitely have their own character, very hi-fi, never muddy or distorted.
