Question Phil Jones Bass

Has any one heard the Phil Jones Stuff? Rediculous. I might have to buy. I just wanted some feedback from some owners of his products. Looks funky but wow!! what tone, what clarity, I was amazed. Thanks for the feedback

I recommend a search... lot's of threads on this gear.... very mixed reviews regarding volume output and weight.... lot's of 'love it or hate it' sort of comments.

Yeah, I started a thread here on my recent PJB experience just last week.
I can understand the weight issues and I can understand the engineer-head-types that disagree with his designs, but the sound hits the nail on the head for my wants, the last couple rigs I've played have felt solid(I've played a couple in the past that were pretty ratty in this regard), and they look as solid as you can get. I've heard stories in the past about poor assembly, but more recently, I've heard that he's addressed the issue. I also have a local-ish dealer that I know and trust will stand behind the product.
I pretty much had my mind made up on a PJB rig ...then I saw the thread here about Jim Bergantino's new cab. [sigh]
