Well, my Phil Jones M-500 renders me precision capability for zeroing in that perfectly balanced bass output across the entire neck, so I came up with this idea of going stereo out from the blue Alembic power supply to BOTH cab combinations after completing my cab setup by finding yet another PJB 9B. (Anyone willing to part with theirs?) I just acquired a second 6T cab last week for roughly half the price. It's sitting on my 18" BagEnd, which NOW looks like a fish out of water. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...00000157255136
UPDATE: I'd consider trading my BagEnd for a PJB 9B. Think I'm on to something here. The overall tone is already to die for! Expensive setup? Yes. Better to purchase used than new, but still there's no way getting around spending significant chunks if your goal is to ascend to the summit of sound quality. I'm on my way and believe I've found it in cabs and amps that are easily portable from home to gig and back. I'm discovering that it's certainly worth the risk when electing to acquire high end pro audio bass equipment. You truly do get what you pay for! Both Sadowsky SA200 amp & Phil Jones bass equipment are NOT overpriced. They're just expensive and rightfully so. Phil's bass amps, combos and cabs are worth every penny. Anyone who states differently is either jealous or a hostile competitor. Highly recommended! |
