Phil himself called me, and he's taking care of my problem with my BG800. His statement, "the customer is king," and he will make sure I'm 100% satified. What a great man and a great company!

I'd expect that Mr. Jones is keen to do a postmortem on the defective components removed from your BG-800.

It'll be interesting to learn what caused the rig's failure.

Guys, PM me if I overlook a number request, it would be unintentional on my part if I did.

It's a Dillon, which as I understand were very limited production instruments done by a player who wanted to dabble in his own instruments. Most of what he put out were guitars, but I stumbled onto one of his basses. It's a really nice bass, neck through with active electronics and sounds and plays great. (For some reason I thought I'd answered this already, sorry.)

I've decided not to sell my PJB 8B cab... At least not until I get my 18B or 21B... Still probably won't sell it then, either. I like it too much!

Number, please, Rollerberg2000...

Thanks...

Good choicehanging on to the 8B! I feel bad about this, but I traded my (brand new barely used) 8B recently. I found something I just had to have, and without the cash, I traded a lot of stuff I wasn't using. Anyone interested in it, PM me and I'll let you know where it is and how much they want for it.

I typically use a 6T/9B speaker combo, but I also have 8T/16B cabs that I really don't need, but they will be expensive to ship and I am sure I am the only one up in this area using the larger Phil Jones gear, so there is no real market/demand for the 8T/16B so I guess it stays with me. Maybe one day I will play bigger venues again.

Yeah, I have considered the 8T/16B setup, but that is a lot more than I need. The 8B is more than I really need, but since when does GAS ever think about NEED?

Hey, I just realized I'm not an official member. Does that mean I have to sell both my PJB amps? (Not gonna happen!)
