My PJB gear has been great, sound wise and reliability wise. I did have a problem with my BG800, but Phil took care of me with some of the greatest service ever. I use a Suitcase on almost a daily basis, and have nothing but good things to say about it.

Bump. Does this sound as good as the briefcase? It weighs half as much. Is the weight they give on the specs for the briefcase include the battery?

and WAY more features...two channel preamp, fantastic sound, and really REALLY small (shoebox-like). 14lbs. I liked it better than the suitcase. More bottom, not as boxy/honky. Sounded great just flat.

Cheers,
Cameron

I'm interested in these also. I have a Briefcase and love it. It is a little heavy though, especially with the battery (which is cool, but I never really use).

Does the cub use the same speakers? Essentially the same max volume do you think?

Aaaand ressurecting a dead thread...

Does anybody know if the pre in the Cub can get any dirt on it? Or is it a clean machine? I've just sold my Walkabout and am now ampless - I'd like to get something very small and quiet just for noodling and recording at home, so I'm considering the Cub.

Thanks!
