Please help me identify this Bag End cab

Sign in to disble this ad
I am considering picking up this Bag End cab from a GC.
They tell me there is no model number. Just a serial number.
I contacted B E. but they had little to no info.

Their website says its a 2-12". Looks more like 10"'s to me.
Anyone familiar with these?

I've seen some funky old BE stuff before. The speaker covers on this cab look sharp and dangerous(homemade even). I would want to see the actual drivers themselves.

I had a number of these 2x12 cabinets back in the day. The speakers had square magnets in the back. The grilles are definitely not original. Mine had un covered speakers with just the 4 aluminum clips holding them in. I also had wooden covers and mine were all oiled birch. I had 4 of these cabinets and they are bullet proof in construction. Maybe upgrade the speakers and have a sweet small rig.

also they didn't come with corners. This cabinet looks beat to crap and painted. get it for a low price and fix it up.
