pocket rocket thingy not working

Is there any reason why the pocket rocket isnt working for my ibanez sr300, I just got both, and Im planning to return the bass if i can bought it from ebay was described as brand new, but when I got it, It was all F'ed up...

any ways Do i have to buy an extention cord for the pocket rocket?

Only guitars that have an angled recessed output jack (a la Fender Stratocaster) may require an audio extension cord in order to use the Pocket Rockit (PR) headphone amp.

May we assume you've tested the PR with another instrument,and that it is working?

Have you plugged the Ibaņez into a combo amp (or amp and speaker cabinet) and obtained sound?

Nope, I am at my sisters house for next 2 weeks and just bought the pocket rocket and got the guitar thought I read somewhere I needed some 1/4 extender thing.
