I'd like to get an idea of what you guys think...
Do you like the red grills?
Do you hate them?
Do you not care? Would you like to be able to order a cabinet and specify the grill color yourself?

Looks like someone is trying to "SHOUT" "F Bass". In that regard, it's working. again, no offense intended. I love and admire the bass work George and staff do. But these cabs are NOT appealing visually in the slightest.

| | | | I like it, in general more colorful rigs look cool. In the end it's not something I would pay much for, though, in terms of customization, because the sound is what is really important to me. But I like it.

I'd forgotten about the Carvin Red Eye cabinets, and I used to own one!
They didn't have red grills, but they did have the red "eye."

|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Apr 2012 Location: Ireland | | | I think the option to pick a colour is awesome - for best results I'd say allow a bunch of options for a moderate fee (grill colour, carpet/tolex/duratex colour) and have an option for more choices - like a old school grille cloth and maybe different handle choices for an extra bit. You obviously need to factor in the production scale and it's nature for this.
It's probably not worth it above medium scale production.
I like the red grille, reminds me of some ashdown cabs.

Cup holders and a hook for the bass to hang on. I HATE guitar/bass stands. Hate hauling them around just to have somewhere to safely put my bass. I hang mine right on my cabs...
Now to make a cup holder for the other side...
