Trying to keep it simple and not trying to canvas the world of all makes and models. We have a lot of members so if we keep it truthful and not "what we wish we had" it should be interesting.
Based on big box and some small box retailers here the popular choices.
I'm sure like me we have several, so pick your favorite. Today mind is Ampeg.

Thanks,

BX1500 head + BRX10.4 4x10 cabinet.
It has a nice clean and punchy sound with enough clarity and definition that even complex chording or tapping on my 6 string works nicely. Oh and my P-Bass Special is nice and growly. Not overdriven, but it has the girth.

My small rig is a GK MB210 combo (only because I haven't found the perfect Ampeg B15N yet). I'm still lookin for the perfect flip top if anyone knows of a good one ping me. |

Oh I don't have my Ampegs, Fenders. Sunn or Acoustic Control Corp amps anymore? Time keeps moving even if we don't.

An Ampeg SVT thru an 8x10 is also a dream rig in terms of tone but there are other factors such as mobility and tube issues etc that prevent this from being my favorite. |
