I just voted other, but admit I was surprised by omission of Mesa.

Mesa Walkabout Scout 15" with matching extension cab in wine lizard with tan grills.

Not knocking your poll, but I would imagine many of the "other" votes will be Mesa.

Everyone just votes for the amp they own. My preference is tubes... beit Orange, Fender, Ampeg, Sunn, Marshall, etc... A tube preamp and SS main sounds pretty good to me too.

SUNN. For the love of god, you'd think eventually one of these polls would include Sunn. There are a fair number of us.

This poll didn't even include Mesa, let alone Sunn. Neither of my favorite brands are represented.

I'm sure that'll get fixed in the next identical poll in two weeks.

My "other" vote was for Traynor/Yorkville ... found on many a Canadian stage. I use them first and foremost because I love the tone and versatility. The relatively reasonable price, dependability and the fact they are Canadian made just makes it that much of an easier decision for me.

If they never existed ... then GK.

Vintage Acoustic as opposed to GC Acoustic. There's a difference. The doghouse doesn't always need amplification, so none sometimes.

There's that and the fact we can only pick one. I have four amps I use regularly depending on the need, one of which is a Mesa WA, the others are two Ampeg SVTs, a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0.

For purposes of this poll I picked Genz Benz because that's the brand I've been using most lately, but sometimes it's the others. All depends on what music I'm doing, the room size, all that stuff.
