I use them first and foremost because I love the tone and versatility. The relatively reasonable price, dependability and the fact they are Canadian made just makes it that much of an easier decision for me.
If they never existed ... then GK.

I have four amps I use regularly depending on the need, one of which is a Mesa WA, the others are two Ampeg SVTs, a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0.
For purposes of this poll I picked Genz Benz because that's the brand I've been using most lately, but sometimes it's the others. All depends on what music I'm doing, the room size, all that stuff.
