Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all. I play a warwick corvette dbl buck. plugged into a gt-6b, into a boss rc-20 loop into that mark bass amp. i am however, not happy with the sound. Is it possible i can get a sound like what you wld hear it in headphones? I hook all that up to pc audio converter(saffire pro 14) And sound is awesome!!. Now , how do i get that sound coming out of my amp? I use 1/4" cables. should i use the other ones?, the 3 pronged? excuse me for not knowing technical name for those. And i go into mono on gt-6b. Just not happy w effects coming out of amp. Any help would be appreciated. TY

It's possible, if you're playing at a pretty good volume, and you're using any sort of low end boost, that you may need more than a single 12" spkr. Sometimes, using a preamp in front of your amp, you may be pushing the amp harder than you think. If this problem goes away if you turn the volume way down, (and you like the tone), it is another speaker you need. Otherwise, (?)

With a full range flat response speaker. Full range flat response is what you get with phones.
