Popping noise with GK MB212

My GK combo was working fine yesterday and when I plugged it in to get ready for the worship service to start, I played a few notes, sounded good, and then POP POP POP. Some of the notes are clean and then it becomes distorted with a pop coming from either the woofer or the tweeter. Any suggestions as to what the problem is and how much I'm looking at to pay to repair it?

I would recommend getting in touch with GK.

Maybe it's and not the cab/speaker - the first thing I would do is clean all inputs, plugs etc. with Caig's DeOxit.

Can anyone +1 this? This would be the best case scenario at this point.

Oh, and try a new cord.

not the cable for sure. I used the same one to go through my markbass rig and it worked fine.
