About a year ago I aquired a Ampeg PF-500 head and a Ampeg PF-115HE sealed cabinet.
The head has been my back-up for my G.K. MB2-500 head, the 1x15 cab has for the most part been parked in our bedroom and played little, and when it was it was always with the PF-500 head.
I used 15's for a short time when I first started out playing 40+ years back, just wasn't for me, since then I've "almost" always used 10's and really didn't want to change (I'm presently gigging with two 210 cabinets).....till after last nights job.
It was a small private party, no FOH needed, moderate volume gig. So, I grabbed the PF-115 cabinet just to blow the spider webs from it at a job and since the G.K. MB2-500 was already in the car thats what I used.

The combination of the G.K. head and the sealed Ampeg PF-115 was, "to my ears", absolutely fantastic!
I liked that combination much better than the PF head and PF cabinet.
I was impressed so much with this combination that I'm now considering adding a second PF-115HE cabinet and continuing to gig with two PF-115HE's and the G.K. head....
Maybe...it might happen...I just "might" convert to a 15 lover... since my ears really like a 15" driver in a SEALED cabinet.
