Is it possible to install an on/off switch for the LED lights on the RH450/750?

I have the Classic 450 and love it.

Would love to have a RH model.

I play very small venues and the visual needs to be very subtle. I know I can turn and cover and tape etc. but that is a hassle.

How hard would it be to install a small on/off switch?

Thanks !

A lot harder than sticking a piece of tape over it. The switch is easy, but then you'd have to mount it onto an already crowded faceplate, and you kill what little resale value micro heads have these days. I feel ya...I think blue LED's are a blight upon the micro amp world...but I wouldn't do that mod.

The LEDs in the RH series amps are white. The red plastic faceplate makes them red.

Anyway, you wouldn't know where your knobs are set if you couldn't see the LEDs (by putting tape or something over them). Why not just tape a little curtain of black cloth across the top of the amp and flop it down while you're playing? When you need to make adjustments, just lift the little curtain.

Actually, not a bad idea at all. Funny how simple things can be at times.

I think it's easier to turn the amp. on the right or on the left so that I can still set knobs but it's not directly facing the audience.
