Possible New Rig Option?

I've always liked my sound through PA/monitor systems...almost better than through an amp. With the exception of jazz quartet gigs, all my gigs have PA support so my amp is just a monitor.

I've wanted to use a wedge with something like an Avalon U5 as a rig. I tried it with some powered wedges (Mackie, Yamaha) and have liked the results, but the wedges were so darn heavy.

Sounds like a very interesting option. Plenty of power and I'm guessing fairly light as well. I know my local dealer will be getting them in so I hope to try them in a month or two.

Or how about wireless transmitter for your bass and wireless IEM for your monitor?

Play from anywhere in the house. :-)

Yeah, I looked at those, too. No one deals them locally, and I can get a sweet deal from my local store.
