Power amp choice for running 2 Eden XST 4x10

Just picked up a Read pre amp and need a good clean power amp to run my two Eden XST 4x10's. These cabs are power hungry, so what would be a good match for my setup? I've played through some of the newer style lightweight amps and I felt they are kinda gutless for what they are supposedly rated at.

I agree with the new lightweight designs leaving a little bit to be desired.

Im in the market for one as well, and Im looking to get either a Crest CA6-9, or a Crown Marco Tech or the Crown K1.

Most likely the Ca9

For the tone conscious there's only the pre-Peavey generation of Crest Audio CA series or the Pro line. Massive, fat and fast.

Crest amp

What are the pre Peavey Crest amps to look for? How do I know which models to look at?

Jack Read liked Stewart amps. ...lightweight, powerful, and reliable. He talked me into buying one when I got his preamp; I paired it w/a World 1.6. I still have the two of them in a rack together. It's never let me down or run out steam.
