Power Amp Noob - SansAmp RPM w/Power Amp and Hartke HyDrive410 Inquiry

Greetings,

I am needing a new rig and am looking for some power amp advice. I was thinking of rolling with a Hartke LH1000, Hartke Hydrive 410 and SansAmp RPM.

What will the benefits of using a Crown power amp with the SansAmp RPM over the LH1000 be?

If I go the power amp route would a Crown XLS 1500 and SansAmp RPM work well with a Hartke Hydrive 410?

Any help is appreciated....

The only benefit that I see is you shed a little weight with the Crown. The benefit of using the LH1000 is you get a secondary pre amp. If you run the RPM in the effects loop, you can use a foot switch to turn it on and off, basically adding a second channel to an already decent amp.

In either case you will have more than enough power to turn a 410 in to a paper weight.
