I recently picked up a Mesa M6 Carbine (Got rid of my heavy SVT Classic) and now I'm thinking about downsizing my Ampeg 810e to a couple smaller cabs.. What do you guys think about running this head into a Mesa Powerhouse 210 and Powerhouse 212.. I've heard the 212 combined with a 410 but I'm wondering if I'll get pretty close to the same sound out of combining a 210 and 212.. Any thoughts or suggestions?

2 of the 2x12's would be devastating, and much better overall than mixing 2 sizes.

So you think the 212's would overpower the 210's?

I recently saw a band and the bassist was using a 212 and 112 bass cab and it sounded pretty sweet.

I have both the PH210 and the PH212 and use them together occasionally. I think they sound exceptional together. Or maybe it's the Walkabout head...:-)

I played the M6 with a 2x12 and that alone would've been enough for most everything.

But... I'd still get two 2x12's.

That must have been expensive but they will look almost as amazing as they will sound! Great choice!

Good choice! I have a single PH212 for now, and will add another 212 or a 115 in the future probably. I had a PH210 with an ex-PH212 at one point and yeah I couldn't really hear the 210 much at concert levels.

Yes a little expensive but I got my order in before the December 1st price increase. Thank god. The cabs went up $150 each from last years price.
