Powering an amp for busking?

Sign in to disble this ad
So...I'm going on the road, on a budget and I think we could make some extra bucks doing some busking. I've seen street musicians power their amps all the time with what looks like a car battery.

Anyone here know how to power a GK 450RB portably?

ive seen some portable power supplies that would work, but they cost 80-120$ to a bit expensive for budget busking

Try one of these;

I've used one for 3 hour jazz gigs on upright on the street at a shopping mall every friday for 3 Years. It never skipped a beat, not the most ideal sound but it does the job. charge it up from mains power and they're alright for about 8 hours.
good luck
