Practice got a bit loud

Sign in to disble this ad
So I got a bit louder

Matamp GT200 into Matamp 8x10
Slave out into Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 into 4x10

Yes I could have got more volume by using the Strategy 400 on the 8x10 but it was a quick throw together and I'm getting another Matamp cab soon so better leaving it how it is for the future addition

Sounded great

I can feel my bones crumbling because of the weight of air.

If that's your practice rig, I'd hate (love) to see your gig rig for an outdoor show.

Well I do have a Matamp 2x12 in the same colours that will be going to the practice room as well this week as it never gets used at home so will make a bit more of a wall with that, I could potentially hook it up with 1 side of the strategy not being used but I doubt I will.

Im sure thats fun to play through, but do you mic your drums or something when you rehearse? Try standing on the other side of the room from your cab, you shouldnt need anything that big.

Because I ran the amps at full wack?

I just wanted to move some more air past me

But yes we all wear ear plugs and it doesn't really matter what it sounds like on the other side of the room because that isn't where I stand to practice.

But thanks for the nice comments

Ste, that is BRUTAL.

I think you should put the other 410 on top of the other 2 410s.

12x10 stack
