Question Pre-amp/ amp preferences for in-ears

Sign in to disble this ad
I am old and tired of carrying SVT and 810 so I am moving to in-ears. Does anyone have any recommedations for pre-amps and/or smaller bass rigs that they have had success with in this application

You might like the svt vr/210av as a mini practice rig and mic it or use the di to your in-ears for gigs. Otherwise you should just be able to use any preamp using the di. I have used a vt bass into a radial di before too

That is the direction I have been thinking was the mini SVT as we have the best of luck currently miking the cabinet, or the Sansamp Tech 21 VT deluxe or the standard driver deluxe. Any input on the Various Sansamp models?

I have only had the VT, not the deluxe and thought it got a great SVT sound. The nice thing about the deluxe is if you like the tone of it, you can always just pick up a power amp and smaller cab and you have a rig again.

thank you for your input. How is the mid scoop on the VT unit? I like to have mids to cut through mixes and that is the only complaints I have heard about the sansamp products.
