Price this Peavey, Please - Used Cab

Going to be looking at a used Peavey cab, loaded with one 15" driver, front port. I don't know the model number, or which speaker it has, and assume it is 8 ohms. From what I'm told, it is Tolex covering and not carpet, made in the USA.

Has a (what I think) high asking price -- $250 ---- or is it? I paid $200 for a practically-new Peavey TVX 410, and thought that was inline, given the condition and my needs. This cab has a bit more mileage on it, as I'm understanding from the seller.

This would be merely rounding out my sound. Not a need so much as a want.

So, what's your best shot at a fair price ballpark? And no, $249 ain't it.

Way to much. $125-175 with a Black Widow is all. I know there is one for sale in the classifieds here. Great cab for the price, just heavy but bullet prof.

Sorry, Harry. The seller is challenged in many ways, pictures and details not being his forte`. I was lucky to drag out of him what I did!

I was thinking in the $150 range too, depending. Anyone else?

$250 seems very high and frankly I wouldn't add a 15" cab to a 4x10. The 4x10 should be much more efficent on it's own.

I think he's trying to rip you off. I mean, given the details, I'd sell an amp like that for about $150 - $175 realistically.
