Looking at getting a new amp set up and have always wanted Ampeg.

looking at getting a PN-410HLF and a PN-115HLF or going with the classic SVT 410hlf.

any one played them and is there any real benefits with one or the other.

will be runing a SVT4pro through them.

Haven't played any of those cabs except the 410HLF, which is one of the lowest low end cabinets I've ever heard and not really my thing. I like the sealed 410HE and 810E. But whatever you get, get matching cabs. The idea that a 410 goes well with a 115 is based entirely on looks. I like two 410's in a stack and I like two 115's in a stack, but if you want max loudness, get two 410's.

I'll be watching. I haven't tried one of the PN's, and would love to hear a report about them.

I've tried the Pro Neo 210 and thought it sounded great, so I figure the 410 is just more of a great thing. A lot of great punch in those 10" ers. I'd love to try the 15" variety, but I have to agree with the above, with not mixing cabs...
