ProAudioStar B Stock?

Just wondering if anyone had experience buying from these guys, especially B Stock or refurbished stuff. Looking to buy a TC Classic 450 from them as B Stock if it doesn't turn out to be too sketchy.

I've purchased several times from them through eBay and they always have shipped quickly and reliably. I haven't bought a lot of B stock stuff from them specifically but I did buy a B stock SVT-VR and it has been awesome. I paid about $1200 for a $2000 amp that seems like it was brand new. I assume that their B stock and refurbished stuff is similar to any other retailer since it's usually manufacturer refurbished (as far as I know).

I bought a B-stock pedal from them, and it turned out to have a fault, and they were very proper and polite about accepting the return and giving me a refund. I won't say they were super cheerful about it, but they are New Yorkers after all. They did the right thing and took care of business, with no BS.

Thanks for the quick replies. This cash is burning a hole in my pocket and I'd really like one of those Classic 450s.

I've bought a few things from them, all B-stock and each time they have asked me if I wanted to upgrade to A-stock for X amount of dollars. While they asked me that I once received the item the next day before ever responding and as far as I can tell they sent me A stock but just advertised the lower price as B-stock to get the customer. I've had great experiences with them, fast shipping and all my B-stock has worked flawlessly. Just my opinion on what I've ordered from them.

I was the Bstock guy among other things when I worked for Yorkville. If Proaudio Star ever sold something of ours that wasn't right, they always went to bat for their customer and we would all work to make things right.

Dealers will often advertise Bstock to circumvent MAP restrictions on advertised selling prices, regardless of actual availability. Usually there's not a HUGE difference in dealer cost on Bstock items.

Thanks guys. As it turns out I got lucky and they took an offer I made to buy the amp new for less than their street price--I just submitted a price slightly higher than their B Stock number, so I'm pleasantly surprised they accepted. And so far my dealings with them have been very good.

Thanks again everyone. When I get the Classic 450 I will try to do a mini-review for those who would possibly benefit...
