PROBLEM

today i bought a new head and box. when i tried the amp in the shop everything was perfect. but then when i came home and start playing there was a distorted sound coming from speaker.
could anyone help?

electricblue from ashdown and yamaha bbt box.
i think that the head is fine. but after i tested it man in the shop said that the cable connecting head and box was destroyed(burned) after i finished (it was usual guitar cable not the speaker one)

OK Here we go: NEVER EVER USE AN INSTRUMENT CABLE BETWEEN AN AMPLIFIER AND SPEAKER CABINET!!!!

Take it back to the shop (bring your own speaker cable this time!) and show them that it doesn't work right. I wouldn't try to blame the instrument cable indecent just yet so I'd treat it like a warranty issue.
