Problem with Gallien-Krueger 700RB-II

I have been playing with this amp head through a GK Goldline 8x10 for about 3 years. For some reason I'm only getting half the volume that I normally do. All of my cables are plugged in correctly, but instead of shaking the walls at 1.5, I had to turn up to about 3.5. Anybody know what could cause this?

Did you move the cab to a different location? Maybe some speakers blew? Check to see that all the cones move when you play. Check the volume on your bass? Change the battery if your pickups are active. As long as the amp isn't clipping out at lower volumes than before, what's wrong with having to turn up a little?

If you are using a passive bass make sure the input pad isn't pushed in.

Try spraying some DeOxit in the Send and Return jacks.

I changed the battery in my bass (I'm using an Ibanez SR500) and that didn't seem to change anything. I'm going to check the speakers in the cab and try the DeOxit spray this weekend. Thanks for all the suggestions!

Check the imput pad.

Try the battery test to ensure all your speakers are actually working. Nine volt battery to speaker cable. Touch and all your cones should move in the same direction. If some move out and some move in you could have a blown speaker.
