Hi everybody.Any suggestions why my brand new combo does sound like 80 watts not 350?Both speakers work, horn also - volume turned to 8 and still did not cover my guitarist played with peavey bandit 65 watts.I am going to return it to Thomann but just wonder why is that?Thank you

To keep up with a guitar player you'll need 5 to 10 times his power and the speakers to handle that. A 2x10, if I read the model correctly, just isn't going to cut it.

+1 bass requires quite a bit more power than guitar does, and volume is the product of multiple speakers moreso than wattage alone. Basic rule of thumb for a gig worthy bass rig, 300-500 watts through a 4x10 or better.

I suspect that my Hartke it has some problem with tube or something because friend of mine has Carlsbro head and 1x15 - 150 watts and sound way louder than mine - i am not talking about moving air, mean 1x15 vs 2x10 - talking about pure power. My was sounded like 100 watts even Hartke description said that combo is 350 watts and.."extremely loud".Is there any possibility that tube socket or tube itself due to transportation from Germany do some problem? If that is what Hartke named extremely loud they have to stop selling this kind of combo right away.LOL
