Problems with an older Peavey TKO 115 combo

Got problems with intermittent output while plugged into either input on this amp. While plugged into the pwr-in it works fine so im thinking theres a problem with the gain knob or the post knob electronics area. So I wanna take this apart and check for loose solder joints, clean it of dust, spray the pots with electronics cleaner etc.

Anyone had these apart? I would think the panel would slide right out but could only get it so slide so far before it hung up on w/e its hanging up on.

:help:

Did you remove the speaker and disconnect the speaker cable first? If it's a sealed cab, then you're probably still connected to the speaker which is why the chassis only slides so much.

:o .... I had the whole thing apart BUT i didn't feed the speaker wires up and out the little hole. I was thinking they would just slide right on thru. I bet that was it... Sigh... stupidity strikes again.

Thanks! I will try again tonite.
