| A question about 2-channel bridgable amps I'm looking at a Tecamp Puma 1000, but I think the same question applies to other 2-channel amps. Here goes:
The amp is rated for 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 1000 watts bridged into 8 ohms. What do you do if you have two 8 ohm cabs? You could connect one cab to each channel and (I assume) get 250 watts each, or cennect them in parallel to one channel and get 500 watts. Am I correct in thinking there's no way to get more than 500 watts in this configuration? |
