Question about connection between Ampeg SVT 350h head and Ampeg SVT 410HLF

I have a new amp setup, as you can read in the title, and currently the two are being connected be a regular 1/4" guitar cable. I'm wondering if it would be better if I connected the two with a speakon cable? I'm not very tech savvy with things like this so any tips would be great. All I know is speakon is better... or so I'm told, but like I said I don't know much of anything when it comes to tech and electronic stuff.

You should be using a speaker cable or a Speakon cable. 1/4" guitar cables are insufficient, and aren't made to hold any power.

Thank you. I didn't want to go out and buy one if it wasn't needed and waste money. I'll go look into some. Any tips on good brands that aren't too pricy?

ANY speaker cable will work. Get as short of one as you can.

I looked around and I found some decently priced Monster speakon cables, which made me remember that the normal 1/4" monster cables have a lifetime guarantee. Does that apply to every monster cable? Or only to the regular 1/4"?

Ampeg actually recommends using the Speakon cable for better sound.... but any good SPEAKER cable will work....
