question about the light bulb in my cab

Sign in to disble this ad
(scroll for cliff notes)I have an eden nemesis NSP410 and I just hooked up a new (to me) GK 1001rb to it and got no sound. I was about to send a member here an e-mail saying the amp didn't work blah blah blah but then I decided to hook my old combo to it. still nothing. I crack the back open and find the light bulb blown. from what i gather thats for the tweeter, but will that cause the whole cab to not work.

tried cab with 2 different amps didn't work, took back plate off to find bulb blown, would that keep cab from working?
and where can i get a 24v 18 watt bulb?

The bulb only affects the tweeter. Replacements are available speakerhardware.com. If the cab doesn't work with two amps and they do work with a different cab chances are all the drivers are blown.

I poked around the Eden forums, and it seems to serve as a fuse for the system. You can change the tone by switching between 12 and 24 volts.

Eden sells them, as do several electronics and boat stores.
