Question about Mesa Cabs

Sign in to disble this ad
Are they well constructed? I'm thinking about selling my ampeg cabs for a Mesa Powerhouse 1200 and a 2x10 or maybe a 1x12. I love the tone from those cabs - Just wondering if they'll last a while.

Yes I have 2 115 powerhouse cabs. They are very well built and travel well. They are heavy though.

I have two Roadready's (a 2X15, and a 1516BE)

They are built more solid than the Dodge Caravan I move them in.

Sweet thanks for the replies! So the price is reasonable for the quality product you are buying?

Best cabs I have ever used and I had them all. Prefer any combo of 10's(2x10 or 4x10) over anything else.

Mesa builds all their gear bulletproof. The cabs are among the heaviest on the market, BECAUSE they're built so solidly.

Isn't that 212 PH cab awesome?

I tried one at a GC and really cranked it with a GK700RBII and it literally produced WIND.

Absolutely. Having taken some of their cabs apart for reviews, and having gigged on the road with Mesa/Boogie cabs for about 4-5 years, I can definitely vouch for their quality. These are some of the best cabs out there, IME/IMHO.
